The keynote speaker for this year’s event at Ithaca College’s Rochester Center was Dr. Katherine Beissner, Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy. The symposium included fourteen poster presentations by graduate physical therapy students whose topics varied from breast cancer to hip fractures.

Faculty advisors included physical therapy faculty from both the Rochester and Ithaca campuses, two PhD candidates from the University of Rochester and a part time faculty member from the community.   Students work with their faculty advisors in established research lines/interests during the academic year. Faculty, staff, and partners in the health care community attended the symposium.

Congratulations to the graduate students on their excellent presentations.
