This weekend's NCAA Track & Field Championships at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio will include seven Bombers -- three members of the men's track & field team and four athletes from the women's team.

 

Juniors Max Orenstein (Trumbull/Trumbull, Conn.) and Jeff Wetmore (Bemus Point/Maple Grove) and freshman Chris Mastrosimone (Faiport/Fairport) have quailified on the men's side. Orenstein and Wetmore will compete in the 200-meter dash, with Orenstein also competing in the 100-meter dash. Mastrosimone will compete in the 400-meter dash.

Representing the women's team, sophomore Emma Dewart (Barker/Barker) will compete in the heptathlon, 100-meter hurdles and high jump, junior Marcia McCord (Rancocas Valley/Mount Holly, N.J.) in the 100- and 400-meter dashes, junior Kate Leugers (Rice Memorial/Richmond, Vt.) in the 10,000-meter run and freshman Amanda Rissmeyer (Watching/Millington, N.J.) in the high jump.
