As we make the transition to our on-line Paid Time Away (PTA) system, the Office of Human Resources would like to remind you of the following:
- As of June 1, exempt employees have a new "responsibility" in Parnassus called Self Service Time. It is Self Service Time that will be used to submit any Paid Time Away. Documentation on how to use Self Service Time is available at : https://www.ithaca.edu/hr/documents/ESS/PROHRI47/
- For non-exempt AND exempt employees, time cards to report PTA must be submitted and approved in advance of the actual payroll run. The bi-weekly pay schedule is available on-line at: https://www.ithaca.edu/hr/documents/compensation/paycal/2010/2010_bw_pay_schedule/
For exempt employees, The semi-monthly pay schedule is available on-line at: https://www.ithaca.edu/hr/documents/compensation/paycal/2010/2010_sm_pay_schedule/
- We are currently working with Oracle to resolve a slight problem with Personal PTA for exempt employees, ONLY. In the meantime, exempt employees should continue to record vacation and sick time taken via Self Service Time, and keep a record of personal time taken offline. We will keep you informed of our work with Oracle on Personal PTA.
- Finally, there are drop-in training sessions for Self Service Time this week (June 7-11) from 8:00 a.m. until noon in the PC Training Room 054 located on the Garden Level of the Peggy R. Williams Center.
