Our fifth consecutive 17-week WW@W series here at Ithaca College is scheduled to begin August 17, 2010 and run through December 7, 2010. Since April 2009, thirteen members have achieved their individual goal weights, twelve of whom are now Lifetime members. Our group as a whole has dropped a total of 325 pounds during the current series and a grand total of 2025.4 pounds since starting the campus program in April 2009. This program works--join us to find out how!

Register now for a continuing 17-week series, scheduled to begin Tuesday, August 17, 2010. The pre-registration deadline is August 10th and the quota is 20 per section offered.

WHEN: Tuesdays, 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. or 12:15 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

WHERE: HR training room G052 in the Peggy Ryan Williams Center

COST: $186 for a 17-week session plus FREE E-tools. Please note: You must join by Week 2 to receive free E-tools and to take advantage of payroll deduction as a payment option. For more detailed information on registration and payment options, please visit https://www.ithaca.edu/hr/worklife/weightwatchers.php.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: August 10, 2010

HOW TO REGISTER:

FIRST, choose a time slot: Visit HR's Work/Life webpage to indicate your first and second choice of meeting time by filling out the brief online form displayed at the bottom of the page. Seating may be limited to 25 per section to preserve the intimacy of a smaller group dynamic.

SECOND, send your payment to Chris Haase, Department of Philosophy and Religion, 223 Park Hall, or bring it to Chris at one of the current meetings on or before August 10th. (All payments sent through intra-campus mail will be acknowledged via e-mail.) If you are not currently registered, please also complete and submit to Chris a WW Registration Card with your payment. Contact Chris if you need a WW Registration Card.

All prepayments and registration materials must be submitted to Chris before or at the meetings on August 10, 2010. This will streamline the necessary paperwork so that more time can be devoted to the program at the start of the series on August 17th. We must have at least 20 prepaid registrations submitted by August 10th per section offered in order to schedule that section.

To be added to a confidential listserve for news and announcements you may not see here in Intercom, please e-mail Chris Haase at haase@ithaca.edu. There is absolutely no obligation to join.

Not sure if Weight Watchers is for you? Bring your lunch and attend our Open House on August 10th at either meeting time. Weight Watchers recently rolled out the new Momentum program and designed it to help you modify the plan so that it works for you! Meet our leader (she's fantastic!) and see how Weight Watchers can help you on your personal journey toward a healthier lifestyle.

Weight Watchers at Work -- Call for Registration for Series 5 to Begin August 17th! Comment from haase on 07/16/10
I am currently out of the office for summer break and am scheduled to return to work on August 16. Until then, I will check my e-mail on a regular basis and will respond within a day or two. (I will be traveling the week of July 19-23 and may not have access to my e-mail, but I will reply upon my return.) I’ll also check for campus mail weekly on Tuesdays while I’m on campus for WW@W meetings.

A word about the payroll deduction form (https://www.ithaca.edu/hr/docs/benefits/ww/ww_pay_deduct.pdf): Please use August 17 as the start date. The total cost is $186.00. The end date will depend on how many payments you’d like to make between August 17, 2010 and December 7, 2010 when the series ends. This will determine your deduction per pay period. Please consult the payroll schedule (https://www.ithaca.edu/hr/documents/compensation/paycal/2010/) for assistance. -Chris
