Pamela Mayberry, associate director and academic program coordinator at the Gerontology Institute, will be leaving the College on August 27 and moving to Chicago.

Pam began work at the College twelve years ago as assistant director at the Institute and was quickly promoted to associate director. Her work over those years has ranged from developing Gerontology academic programs to grant writing to web development, and more. She is the College coordinator for the Finger Lakes Geriatric Education Center, an on-going grant funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration. Pam led many student-centered initiatives and developed and facilitated the Ithaca College Caregiver Support Group.

Please join me in thanking Pam for her outstanding work for the College and in wishing her the best of luck in the “windy city.”

Good bye, Pam. You will be missed. Would you mind coming back each fall to speak to my TC3 Gerontology class? : )
