The Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs is pleased to introduce the college community to our newest staff members. Theresa Radley joined Ithaca College on July 6 as that Assistant Director of Student involvement. She will be working with the officers and advisors of the more than 200 student organizations on campus, and will serve as the advisor to the Student Activities Board, Bureau of Concerts, and IC After Dark. Don Austin will be joining Ithaca College on August 23 as the Assistant Director of Community Service. He will be coordinating service and civic engagement programs for groups and individuals, including Service Saturdays, Alternative Spring Break, and MLK Day of Service. He will also coordinate the Diversity Peer Educators program. Sara Schupp will join Ithaca College on August 23 as the First Year Experience Programs Coordinator. She will be working with Fall Welcome, Winter Welcome, Summer Orientation, and other programs developed specifically for first year students. She will serve as the advisor to the Student Government Association. Jen Walsh will continue on in OSEMA transitioning to a new role as Leadership Programs Coordinator from August 23 through May 31, 2011. She will be coordinating the Student Leadership Institute, several recognition programs for student leaders, and assisting with cultural themed programming. She will serve as the advisor to the Senior Class. Please join OSEMA in congratulating these four outstanding professionals and welcoming them to our community! |
