Attention Windows XP users:

If your college-owned computer is still running Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), you should upgrade to SP3 as soon as possible.

The update is available through the normal Windows Update tool (look for the yellow shield icon in the system tray). Microsoft is no longer providing security patches or updates for Windows XP SP2, posing a security risk for SP2 computers.

To verify whether your computer needs this update:

• Right-click the My Computer icon
• Choose Properties
• On the General tab look for SP2 under System
