ITS is pleased to announce that several portable podcast kits are now available on a loaner basis from the Helpdesk. These kits include a Windows laptop, specialized software, a webcam and a USB microphone - all the the equipment necessary to create a podcast.

To reserve this equipment, go to the Helpdesk Long Term Loaner web page, and under Windows Laptops, click on one of the portable podcasting kit links.

Training is available in both the Technology Learning Center(TLC) and through the Center For Educational Technology (CET).

Introduction to Podcasting is being taught in TLC (Friends 101) on:

• Sep. 7th, 2010, 12:00 - 1:00 pm
• Sep. 20th, 2010, 3:00 - 4:00 pm
• Oct. 6th, 2010, 11:00 - 12:00 am
• Oct. 21st, 2010, 4:00 - 5:00 pm

Portable Podcasting Kit Demonstrations will be held in CET on:

• Sep. 2nd, 2010, 1:00 - 2:00 pm
• Sep. 7th, 2010, 10:00 - 11:00 am
• Sep. 13th, 2010, 3:00 - 4:00 pm
