Disability Accommodation Statement Required in Publicity for College EventsContributed by Christopher Crawford on 08/26/10 Ithaca College is committed to facilitating the full participation of people with disabilities in all campus programs, activities, and events. For this reason, as well as to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, it is necessary to publicize information about disability access in advance of all campus events. Please include the following statement in all printed and online pre-event publicity: Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact [insert your office name and contact information here]. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
