You will learn strategies for increasing awareness, coping with difficult emotions, communicating emotional needs, and developing strategies for self-care. The goal of this group is to support one another in a safe space and re-connect with the pieces of oneself that sometimes fall away after traumatic experiences or difficult relationships. Mondays 3:30 to 5 pm; Facilitator: Ron Dow, LCSW Living with Grief Living With Grief is about living with loss. Whether your loss is anticipated, recently occurred or happened a short while or a long time ago, losing a loved one is a deeply personal experience. It can be easy to feel alone with your sadness and adjustment - but it doesn't have to be that way. Please join a community of others who are at various places on their journey with grief; you'll get support, and your presence will help create a supportive environment for others. This group is a drop-in support group that meets every Thursday at 5:15 in the Health Promotion Resource Room starting February 3rd. Drop-in, and be part of a community of caring. Facilitator: Dr. LeBron Rankins. Sexual Assault Survivor Support If you have had an unwanted sexual experience, have been sexually assaulted, or raped, there is support for you. This group will help you to cope with anxiety, sadness, guilt, and anger & will give you the chance to feel supported & offer help to others who also feel alone.
