You're invited to a very special event: "The Clean Energy Summit - Re-Imagining Upstate New York's Energy Future" at Ithaca College in the Emerson Suites in the Campus Center on Friday, September 17th from 9:00AM - 12:15PM. This event is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required by September 10th, even for Ithaca College faculty, staff and students who may only be attending for a class period.
Discover what a “clean energy” future would look like in Upstate New York.
What are the “green collar” careers that will be created in a “clean energy” future?
What are economic development opportunities related to "clean energy" and what are successful area examples?
Learn what the state is of “clean energy” research and the opportunities for industry/educational partnerships.
The closing keynote address will be delivered by The Honorable Maurice Hinchey, US Representative for the 22nd District of New York State.
Event check-in begins at 8:00AM with continental breakfast.

Lunch is on your own on campus if you wish to stay for the optional post-event tours.
There will be exhibits and demonstrations by clean energy technology companies and local non-profit organizations. We will also offer optional post-event tours of Ithaca College’s two LEED™ Platinum-level buildings, as well as tours of some of our Clean Energy faculty laboratories. (Please pre-register for these tours as well as for the Summit itself. See instructions below).
This event is free and open to the public but you must pre-register before September 10th in order to save your seat.
