Do you want to have some fun while helping the environment at the same time? The Ithaca College wetlands need your help! IC’s Conservation Biology class is looking for volunteers to help with removing over-abundant cattails from the ponds of the brand new IC wetlands, created to mitigate wetland losses resulting from construction of the IC Athletic Center. This will be a great chance to help with an important cause and enjoy the great outdoors before it gets cold.

We will be meeting Sunday, September 12th at 11:00am in front of Boothroyd. If you’re late, not to worry--just follow the red marked trees! Come and stay as long as you can. Hot cider and Littletree Orchard’s famous cider donuts will be available to keep flagging spirits, so wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet and muddy and come join the fun!

Come tug some cattails on Sunday - free food, good company and a good cause! | 0 Comments |
