Pathways Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Training for Faculty and StaffContributed by Paul Mikowski on 09/17/10 Prepare yourself to respond to a student who might be experiencing distress by attending a Pathways training. Taught by staff of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Pathways will prepare you to confidently identify and respond to someone believed to be at risk for experiencing a crisis. The next Pathways trainings are scheduled:
· September 30, 2010, 3-4:30 p.m. · October 26, 2010, 3-4:30 p.m.
To maximize the benefit of the training, group sizes are limited. Please contact Paul Mikowski(pmikowski@ithaca.edu) to reserve a seat. Training sessions are available for departments; please inquire for more information. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations are asked to contact Counseling and Psychological Services at 607-274-3136 as early as possible.
