Pathways Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Training for Faculty and StaffContributed by Paul Mikowski on 10/14/10 Attend a Pathways training to learn crisis response skills before you need them! Don't wait until it's too late to learn how to identify and respond to a student who might be experiencing distress. Taught by staff of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Pathways will prepare you to confidently identify and respond to someone believed to be at risk for experiencing a crisis. Feel free to bring a friend! The next Pathways training is scheduled: October 26, 2010, 3-4:30 p.m. To maximize the benefit of the training, group sizes are limited. Please contact Paul Mikowski (pmikowski@ithaca.edu) to reserve a seat. Training sessions are available for departments; please inquire for more information. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations are asked to contact Counseling and Psychological Services at 607-274-3136 as early as possible. |
