James Pfrehm presented "Disentangling the Web: Tips and Resources for Integrating Web 2.0 into the Post-Secondary Curriculum" to faculty at Linfield College, in McMinnville, Oregon.

Using Bloom's Digital Taxonomy as a theoretical reference point, professor Pfrehm argued that Web 2.0 applications can be used to encourage critical thought and foster interactive and creative learning, while also providing students with a sense of ownership of their work, and challenging them to negotiate newer technologies.  Professor Pfrehm incorporated examples from his Ithaca Seminar and German language, civilization, and film courses, focusing on the use of blogs, VoiceThread, Voki, Overstream, and especially podcasts.
