Elisabeth Nonas, associate professor and chair of the Department of Cinema, Photography, and Media Arts, will participate in Cinemapolis' "Local Favorites" series on Thursday Nov. 4 at 7:00 pm.

Nonas has selected one of her favorite films, THE STATION AGENT (starring Peter Dinklage, Patricia Clarkson, Michelle Williams, Bobby Cannavale). Why did Elisabeth choose THE STATION AGENT? "I think it's funny, touching, and a smart take on loneliness and friendship."

"Local Favorites" is one of Cinemapolis' most popular series, allowing audiences to meet an interesting local personality and to see and discuss a well-chosen classic film. Since Cinemapolis' normal menu is the best of the new films, "Local Favorites" allows audiences a relatively rare chance to share the best of the old.
