Health Care and Culture (HINT 31200)

An investigation of sociocultural context in the delivery and receipt of health care and rehabilitation services. Students examine, through readings, discussion, and interviews with people in the community, the role of ethnicity, race, religion, and socioeconomic status in shaping the health-related beliefs and behaviors of individuals. Prerequisite: Junior standing.
