Design your own syllabus! No prior knowledge or experience in opera or musical theater required!

Join professors Brian DeMaris (School of Music), Sean Eversley Bradwell (Center for Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity), Paula Murray Cole (Theater Arts), for an interdisciplinary course bringing together faculty and students from multiple areas to investigate, compare and contrast opera and musical theater repertoire in the context of significant contemporary and historical social and cultural issues. Focus will be on initiating collaboration among students.
