All students are welcome to Audrey's House Tie Dye Party, this Friday November 12, 4-6 p.m. in Terrace 2 first floor lounge (someone will be at the first floor entrance to let in non-T2 residents throughout the event). Take this great opportunity to celebrate the weekend by helping out post-Katrina New Orleans with friends!

Some shirts will be made available by Audrey's House but there is a limited supply and size range so students are encouraged to bring their own if possible.

There's a suggested donation of $3-$5 and all proceeds will go directly toward rebuilding the home of Ms. Audrey Armour of Mid-City New Orleans. Please read below for more information on Ms. Audrey and the club.

About Audrey's House:

Last year on IC's Alternative Spring Break, students met Ms. Audrey Armour of Mid-City New Orleans. Ms. Audrey still has yet to be able to return to her house more than five years after Hurricane Katrina because of building scams and a lack of funds and manpower. The ASB group came back and started Audrey's House, a club dedicated to raising funds for Audrey's house and, once her home is complete, others like her in need.

Audrey has 6 children, 14 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She is an inspiration, and the epitome of a person with hope, life, love, and happiness despite her difficult times in the past five years since Katrina.
