Elizabeth Bleicher, assistant professor and director of teacher education in the department of English, will deliver a paper at the NCTE convention on Saturday, November 20th, 2010, in Orlando, Florida. 

The paper is entitled, "'What's in It for Me?': Empowering Students as Critical Thinkers," and it will be presented as part of a panel organized by Linda Hanrahan, associate professor and chair of graduate programs in the department of Education.  Two graduates of the Ithaca College MAT program, Melissa Blitzstein and Carrie Ost, will also present papers.   The panel session is entitled, "Analyzing Literature: Scaffolding for Student Success."
