Don't forget to submit your application to FLEFF by Monday, November 15.

You can do an internship or team leader position with a major environmental and human rights film and arts festival without leaving campus. Gain experience, make connections, work with media professionals, build your resume-and have fun.

TO DO LIST
To get you going on your first step to a career in media, festivals, and creative economies, here's a simple punch list:

1. Download the FLEFF internship or team leader application HERE.

2. Type your responses to the questions. Let us know who you are and what you are interested in learning.

3. Remember, no prior festival, film, video, music, arts or new media experience necessary.

4. Team leaders must be sophomores, juniors or seniors.  No prior FLEFF experience required.

5. Watch THIS VIDEO featuring our FLEFF Internship Coordinators, media professionals Ann Michel and Phil Wilde, co principals of Insights International in Ithaca and New York City.  We bet they will get you excited.

6. Check out Insights International  website for a preview of the 30 years of media experience, knowledge and contacts you'll have access to as an intern.

7. Watch THIS VIDEO featuring 2009 FLEFF Interns.  Our hunch is that you will want to join the FLEFF team for the 2011 festival.

8. Turn in your application on MONDAY NOVEMBER 15 to the Office of the Dean, Division of Interdisciplinary and International Studies, CHS 214-01.

DECISION TIMELINE
Intern and team leader applications will be reviewed next week.  Selected interns and team leaders will hear from us. If you are selected, we will get you registered for one of the one credit P/F FLEFF Practica, headed up by media industry profesionals Ann Michel and Phil Wilde.
