Hillel and Colleges Against Cancer are sponsoring the annual Inch-a-Thon. Local barbers and stylists are cutting hair all day in the North Foyer.  If you donate 8 inches or more, the hair cut is free. If you cut less then 8 inches, the appointment only costs $10! All of the hair will be donated to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths in association with the American Cancer Society. The money from those that are not donating their hair is going to The Chai Lifeline, whose mission is to "find ways to bring joy to the lives of their young patients and their families through creative, innovative, and effective family-centered programs, activities, and services".

But wait! There is MORE! We are also collecting AND making "chemo caps" on the day of the event! Know how to knit? Want to contribute to a great cause? Join us at the Shoshanah Rudnik Inch-a-Thon and knit hats for chemotherapy patients! All you need is a cotton yarn and a pair of needles. Don't know how to knit? No problem! Bring supplies if you can and come take part in the experience. Gabby Napoli ('13) is organizing the hats and donating them to a Chemo Caps foundation in time for the holidays.
