Ithaca College

By September 2012, Sakai will become the new online course management system for Ithaca College, replacing Blackboard. Come to an info session and learn about Sakai's features and benefits, why this change is necessary, and how the college community arrived at this decision.

Don't worry, there will be plenty of time to transition to this new system. The initial plans include conducting a Sakai pilot for some summer 2011 courses, having both Sakai and Blackboard available for the 2011-2012 academic year and then transitioning fully to Sakai by Fall 2012.

Information sessions will be held:

• Thursday Dec. 2, 12:10 - 1 pm in the Park Auditorium
• Tuesday Dec. 7, 12:10 - 1 pm in Textor 101
• Wednesday Dec. 8, 3 - 4 pm in Iger Lecture Hall in the Whalen Center
• Thursday Dec. 9, 12:10 - 1 pm in Business 103
• Tuesday Dec. 14, 12:10 - 1 pm in CHS 202

Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend any one of these sessions.
