Do you want to learn more about the fracking controversy?  Join us in the Handwerker Gallery at 4.00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, for “Reading through the Lines on Fracking:  Critical Understanding of Media Messages.”  Maura Stephens, associate director of the Park Center for Independent Media, will lead the discussion.

The Tuesday Salon is a Handwerker Gallery program aimed at providing students, faculty, staff, and members of the community a forum outside of the classroom for intellectual discussion and debate. Topics are selected by our guest discussant, who provides a 10-minute introduction and moderates the ensuing conversation.

For more information, please contact Erika Fowler-Decatur at efowlerdecatur@ithaca.edu.  Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodation should contact  the Handwerker Gallery, 274-3018, as much in advance of the event as possible.
