The Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology was well represented by a wide range of faculty and student presentations at the Annual Convention of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association held in Philadelphia from 11/18-11/20.

Joint faculty and student posters included Using iTunes to Enhance Student Learning in Speech-Language Pathology by Clinical Assistant Professor Mary Pitti and graduate students Margaret Carpenter and Karen Thorpe, Integrating a Cross-Cultural & Interdisciplinary Field Experience in Health Care by Clinical Associate Professor Marie Sanford and graduate student Michael Scianna, and Can we Talk? Improving Conversational Turn-Taking Using Visual Scene Displays by Clinical Instructor Tina Caswell and graduate student Katie Appel. Assistant Professor Skott Freedman presented on Children's Naming as a Function of Neighborhood Density. Clinical Associate Professor Christine Cecconi and colleague Mary Emm from SUNY Cortland presented a poster entitled Leadership in Teaching: Utilizing Student Perspectives on Administration and Supervision.
