ARE YOU GRADUATING THIS SEMESTER OR NEXT AND PLAN TO TEACH IN N.Y. STATE?Contributed by Diane Kinne on 12/08/10 Do you have questions about applying for teacher certification? The Department of Education is offering assistance with the application process to all December 2010 and May 2011 graduates.
Information sessions will be offered on Tuesday, 12/14, Wednesday, 12/15 and Thursday, 12/16 from 9:00 – 11:00 and 1:00 – 3:00 each day in the Department of Education Office, Phillips 194 (next to the Bookstore). During these sessions students can apply on-line, ask questions or pick up instructions. Students needing NY State Teacher Certification Exam (NYSTCE) information should refer to the following link: www.nystce.nesinc.com If there are questions or to set up an appointment for another time, students should contact Diane Kinne at dkinne@ithaca.edu or 607-274-1488.
