Ithaca College

IC voICes, Ithaca’s faculty/staff choir directed by Dr. Susan Avery, will have a very special opportunity on Thursday, January 6, 2011. Marco Fanti, acclaimed conductor from Bologna, Italy, will be at the College to work with the choir extensively in a 90 minute session.

With more than 25 years experience, Fanti has conducted choirs in several dozen countries and has worked most recently in Italy and the UK. He has collaborated with various television productions, newspapers, and both local and external partners. In addition to conducting choirs for both adults and children in Italy and the UK at present, Fanti is a Professor of Music at the University of Bologna. 

Thursday’s session is open to all current members of IC voICes.
