Are you mindful when you eat?

Contributed by Alison Bowman on 01/08/11

Mindful eating is allowing yourself to become aware of the positive and nurturing opportunities that are available through food preparation and consumption by respecting your own inner wisdom.

Join Michael Faber, Director of the IC Jewish Community, in a "mindful meal" Lunch and Learn. Michael describes mindful eating as the "best diet in the world". Participants will learn to eat less and enjoy eating more.

When: Thursday, January 20th Noon—1:00

Where: Clark Lounge, Campus Center

A vegetarian lunch will be served as Michael leads us in a mindful meal discussion.

RSVPs are required due to limited seating. Please RSVP to Human Resources either by telephone at x4-8000, or to hrstudent@ithaca.edu

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Alison Bowman in Human Resources at abowman@ithaca.edu or x4-8000. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.

Work/Life: We believe in the integration of work and life outside of work.
