Jeffery Meyer will be performing with the piano and percussion duo Strike in Alabama at Auburn University, and in Wisconsin at Lawrence Conservatory of Music and UW Madison School of Music this week and next.

Along with duo repertoire written for the group, Meyer will perform Davidovsky's Synchronisms No. 6 for piano and tape.   He will also give masterclasses in piano and conducting.   Strike has performed at venues throughout the United States, in St. Petersburg, Russia at the Sound Ways New Music Festival and most recently in China, performing at the Beijing Modern Music Festival at the Central and Tianjin Conservatories. The duo’s debut CD entitled Convergence, featuring all new works written specifically for this project, has received rave reviews in American Record Guide, Downtown Music Guide and ArchivMusic.com.
