All faculty and staff are welcome to attend a Pathways training to learn to identify and respond to a student who might be experiencing distress.  We appreciate your willingness to learn crisis response skills before you need them.

Taught by staff of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Pathways will prepare you to confidently identify and respond to someone believed to be at risk for experiencing a crisis.

The next Pathways trainings are scheduled:

  • Tuesday,   February 1st,  3 - 4:30 PM
  • Thursday,  March 3rd,     3 - 4:30 PM
  • Monday,    April 18th       10:30 AM-12 Noon

To maximize the benefit of the training, group sizes are limited.  Please contact Paul Mikowski(pmikowski@ithaca.edu) to reserve a seat.

Training sessions are available for departments; please inquire for more information.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations are asked to contact Counseling and Psychological Services at 607-274-3136 as early as possible.
