MLK Week 2011 is in full swing, and the events so far have been worthy of a big 'WOW'!  An incredible kickoff, music concert, social justice fair and workshops have already made this week very special.  But we're not done yet!

  • Listen and participate in a discussion with panelists from IC and Cornell, including Fr. Carsten Martensen, James Touchton, Stephen Hill, Chris Accardo, and Kenneth Clarke!  Wednesday night at 7pm in Textor 102.
  • Attend more workshops to learn about issues facing us today such as bullying and other urgent matters -- Thursday, 12-1pm.
  • Visit YouTube to witness these slam poets before Friday night's event: Simone Crew, Angel Nafis, and Janine Simon.  Plus Spit That! will perform, along with a SURPRISE guest.  It's going to be AMAZING!
  • Visit the MLK Week table in the Campus Center during the week (between 10am and 2pm) to learn about the Hands of Hope Project, and how you can contribute to the MLK Memorial in Washington, DC.

The remaining MLK Week events can be found below.
