Then come to an informational meeting by International Student Volunteers on Thursday, January 27, start times at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm in the DeMotte Meeting Room to learn how you can travel abroad doing volunteer work and adventure traveling! 

"ISV's mission is to create an environment that combines conservation, education, community development and recreation into the ultimate adventure travel program for those of you who want to make a difference by volunteering in communities abroad!"

Having traveled to New Zealand for a month 2 summers ago with ISV, I can attest that it is a trip of a lifetime...literally. The first two weeks you spend volunteering in either community development projects or conservation work, like I did for Conservation Volunteers New Zealand. And the second two weeks you embark on a 14 day adventure tour, where you get the chance to travel throughout the entire country you volunteered in and learn about its people and culture, while having an amazing time doing it!

It really is an amazing program, trust me, I still talk about it like I came home yesterday. So if you are even at all interested, even just a little, come to the meetings January 27 to learn more from our ISV reps about the program and how you can start applying. Again the start times are 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm in the DeMotte Meeting Room on the first floor of the Campus Center. [The room is kind of hidden but if you walk through the doors next to the info desk, and go down to the first floor, the meeting room is right on your left before you walk out!]
