SoM Student Rachel Perry Awarded 2nd Place in the Vandoren Emerging Artist CompetitionContributed by Molly O'Shea Polk on 01/28/11 Rachel Perry, a saxophone performance and music education major from the studio of Professor and Acting Dean Steven Mauk, narrowly missed the first place award won by a graduate student from the University of Illinois. The Emerging Artist Competition included applicants from across the United States and was based on submitted recorded performances. Congratulations Rachel! |
