The Office of Facilities purchasing department is pleased to announce a hands-on, live installation and demonstration of the Steelcase “media:scape”, a collaborative free-standing meeting space meshing the integration of furniture and technology.  

Available in various configurations, media:scape allows participants to access and share information quickly and equally together in a comfortable group setting. Images and information from laptops can be exchanged and displayed on monitor(s) by the touch of pad from each participant on a center console. No software is required.

We see this as a great solution to collaborative student and staff group projects or study, working teams, and presentations for sharing and connecting while maximizing multipurpose spaces into comfortable meeting rooms “without walls”.

The Steelcase media:scape hands-on installation will be available to “test drive” by students, staff and faculty from February 7th – 28th in the Park School of Business second floor atrium. Scheduled demonstrations by Steelcase representatives will be available at the following times:

February 7   -  2:00pm and 3:30 pm

February 10 - 11:00am, 1:30pm and 3:00pm

February 17  - 11:00am, 1:30pm and 3:00pm
