Come See Two Awesome Transgender Performers Feb. 15!Contributed by Jacquelyn Simone on 02/04/11 IC Human Rights is proud to be hosting Athens Boys Choir and Katastrophe at 8 p.m. February 15 in Emerson Suites. The two transgender performing artists will be presenting an evening of hip-hop and spoken word as part of their F to eMbody tour, which is an effort to increase visibility of transgender people on college campuses. The event, co-sponsored by the Center for LGBT Education, Outreach and Services, is part of IC Human Rights Club's annual Right to Love. The performers will deliver entertainment and political messages, so mark your calendars and bring your friends!
