The members of the First-Year Experience Coordinating Committee would like to invite all first-year students to attend a series of events designed to highlight the wonderful speakers, films, athletics and performances that happen on our campus all year long!

After a successful line-up last semester, we're happy to announce our NEW list of FYE Showcase Events!  Here is what's planned for the beginning of your spring semester:

Wednesday, February 16 -- Out of the Closet and Onto the Screen Film Series Double Feature --   @ 7pm, Living With Pride: Ruth Ellis at 100 -- @ 8pm, "Brother Outsider: The Life of Bayard Rustin" -- Textor 102

Friday, March 25, 9pm-12am -- March Event (theme TBD) -- Emerson Suites

Saturday, March 26, 8:15pm -- Choir Concert -- Ford Hall

At each and every event that you attend, you have an opportunity to enter our raffle pool for a chance to win a $250 Amazon.com gift card!!  If you are a first-year student, simply go to the FYE table at each event and fill out a raffle ticket to register -- It’s that easy!  You can only register once at each event, but you can register at every event you attend!

We will draw the winning students name at the end of the semester.  We gave away a Dell 10v mini Netbook to one lucky first-year student, a flat screen TV to another, and an Apple iPad to another just last semester!!! You could be our lucky winner this semester!!

So be on the look-out for FYE Showcase Events!  We post them in your residence halls, on Intercom, on Facebook, on our website, and in MyHome!
