Hillel has invited Rabbi Jeff Roth of the Awakened Heart Project to conduct a Shabbat meditation week-end Friday evening March 4 - Sunday morning the 6th.  Jeff's the real deal - he's been teaching mindfulness meditation to Jewish and other groups for many years, and he is excellent at what he does.

The Schedule for the week-end:

Friday, March 4 - Shabbat service at 6pm followed by a special of Shabbat dinner in Muller Chapel.  After dinner there will be a short program to close the evening.

Saturday - we are taking Jeff to Tikkun V'Or, the Reform congregation in Ithaca, for Shabbat morning services.  Lunch at 1pm in Terrace Dining.  Afternoon program begins at 2pm in the Chapel.  Light dinner at dusk followed by Havdalah and short evening program.

Sunday - 9am at the Chapel - bagels, etc. for breakfast, followed by meditation and closing.

This event is open to the campus and you can participate in some or all of it.  For more information, Michael Faber 274.3323 or <faber@ithaca.edu>.  We'd like to know if you plan on attending so we can order the food.
