Save the Date: Predoctoral Diversity Fellow Hollie Kulago to Present Dissertation ResearchContributed by Laurie Arliss on 02/24/11
Hollie is Diné originally from Fort Defiance, Arizona. Her dissertation title is: Diné Youth Define Community: Finding Routes to School and Community Partnerships. In this presentation, Hollie will explain the significance of her dissertation with emphasis on both education and anthropology. Specifically, she will describe three key concepts that build her theoretical framework:
1. K’é - Diné philosophy of community 2. Kinaałdá - Diné educational experience 3. Framework of Diné community/school partnerships Please help us celebrate the work of the outstanding predoctoral diversity fellows who have been part of the School of Humanities and Sciences this year.
