Apply for a Residential Learning Community for fall!Contributed by Ronald M. Trunzo on 02/28/11 It's not too late to apply to live in a Residential Learning Community (RLC) for fall 2011! Applications are now being accepted on HommerConnect for RLCs, and are due Monday, March 7, 2011 by 11:59pm. Approvals will be posted on Wednesday, March 9, and housing selection in an RLC will take place on Friday, March 11th beginning at 7:00am. Residential Learning Communities are a great way to meet new people who share some common interests. Our RLCs include: · Housing Offering a Multicultural Experience (HOME, Terrace 3) for international and domestic students committed to expanding their multicultural knowledge and experiences. · Honors (Lyon) for students participating in the Ithaca College Honors Program. · House of Roy (Eastman) provides a supportive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students and allies. · Language Communities (Terrace 7) include Vecinos (Spanish), Stockwerk Deutsch (German), and Quartier français (French). · Outdoor Adventure (Terrace 8) for students who are interested in outdoor adventure and leadership programs. · Sustainably Conscious (Terrace 2) for students who are committed to exploring the many facets of sustainable living. · Transfer Student Housing (Terrace 11) new for Fall 2011 and is designed to meet the needs of transfer students on campus.
