Athletic Training Education Program Director, Dr. Paul R Geisler, LAT, ATC and Clinical Education Coordinator, Dr. Kent Scriber, ATC, PT both from the Department of Exercise & Sport Sciences presented recently at the 2011 NATA Educators' Conference in Washington, DC.

Professor Scriber presented "Reassessing Assessment: Are Clinical Grades Necessary?" at the Best Practices Workshop, while Associate Professor Geisler presented a breakout workshop entitled "Integrating Clinical Reasoning and Evidence-Based Practice: A Pedagogical Strategy for Enhancing Clinical Decision-Making"  with Dr. Joshua Drouin, ATC from Lock Haven University (PA). Both sessions were well attended and received, as the insight and information presented demonstrated that Ithaca College continues to be a leader in athletic training pedagogy and practice.
