Need help making decisions on complex situations in your student org?Contributed by Sophie Glassman on 03/07/11 Shared Sense-Making
March 10, Taughannock Falls Room, 12:15pm Sense-making is the process of creating an awareness and understanding of complex and/or challenging situations in order to make decisions in an organization. It is a way to explore challenges, foster dialogue, and to strategize about the present and the future. In this session, we will use sets of images to explore and consider individual assumptions, emotions, and various perspectives related to student leadership. The goal of the session is to learn how sense-making can be used as a tool for creating a shared vision.
