Ithaca College International Club is proud to present that this Wednesday, March 23, 6:30pm in Friends 210, Kiran Nagarkar will be reading excerpts from his highly controversial, formally unpublished play Bedtime Story. Bedtime Story is loosely based on the Mahabharata and has been considered dangerous enough to be the object of censorship.

Kiran Nagarkar is a notable novelist, playwright, critic, and screenwriter. He is currently a Visiting Fulbright Scholar teaching for the Ithaca College Honors Program. Writing in both Marathi and English, he is widely considered to be one of the most significant writers in postcolonial India, having been awarded the subcontinent’s most prestigious literary prizes.
