School of Music Graduate Student to Study at Case Western

John Romey, current masters in music student in double bass performance from the studio of Professor Nicholas Walker, has received a prestigious and generous assistantship to support his doctoral studies at Case Western Reserve University.

John will begin studies toward a DMA in Historical Performance Practice at Case Western Reserve University in the fall of 2011. Case Western offers a superb doctoral degree in performance and also has an outstanding program in historical musicology, in which John has great interest.
