Learn more about the Conflict Minerals trade in Eastern Congo.

In Eastern Congo the government and militia groups have created a warzone unsafe for any Congolese citizen.  Eastern Congo has been named as the most dangerous place on the planet for a woman to live, based on the widespread use of rape as a weapon of war.  It is also where some electronics companies acquire the minerals (Tungston, Tin, and Tantalum) to create the circuit boards for their products.  Do you know where your electronics originate?  Would you want to be complicit in the humanitarian violations in Eastern Congo by support the Conflict Mineral trade?  If not learn more about what you can do to stop the trade of conflict minerals by visiting http://www.raisehopeforcongo.org/content/initiatives/conflict-minerals or emailing ithacacollegestand@gmail.com
