Are you a leader on campus? Are you involved with student organizations? Are you looking for a little boost to your financial aid package for next year? Do you currently have a GPA at or above 2.75?

Then the Student Government is looking for you!


The Ithaca College Student Government Association is now accepting applications for two scholarships they are offering to be awarded for the 2010-2011 academic year. Current sophomores and juniors (60 completed credits by Fall 2010) are encouraged to apply for the Student Government Association and Margaret D. Reid Scholarships. Applications can be found on the SGA website, under Academics, at https://www.ithaca.edu/orgs/sga/Academics/. All application materials are due by 5:00pm on Friday, April 15, 2010.

To be eligible for the Margaret D. Reid Memorial Scholarship a student must; demonstrate student leadership and/or active involvement in campus life, have a grade point average of between 2.75 and 3.599 as of March 5, 2011, Be a rising Junior or Senior as defined academically - anticipating at least 60 credits beginning Monday August 23, 2011 (Convocation of the 2011- 2012 academic year) - and not graduating in May 2011, and have good judicial standing as determined by the Office of Residential Life and Judicial Affairs.

To be eligible for the Student Government Association Scholarship a student must; demonstrate student leadership and/or active involvement in campus life, have a grade point average of 3.6 or above as of March 5, 2011, Be a rising Junior or Senior as defined academically - anticipating at least 60 credits beginning Monday August 23, 2011 (Convocation of the 2011-2012 academic year) - and not graduating in May 2011, and have good judicial standing as determined by the Office of Residential Life and Judicial Affairs.

All scholarships will be awarded according to need as determined by the Office of Financial Services.

In an effort to be sustainable, all scholarship applications and recommendations will be completed and submitted online.
