Jeffrey Holmes (Psychology) presents at the Southeastern Conference on the Teaching of PsychologyContributed by Bernard Beins on 03/30/11 Professor Jeffrey Holmes of the Psychology Department participated in a session of the Southeastern Conference on the Teaching of Psychology in Atlanta on February 25. He joined colleagues from several institutions to present a talk on developing an effective undergraduate teaching assistant program. The presentation followed Professor Holmes’ recent work on a task force sponsored by the Society for the Teaching of Psychology, a division of the American Psychological Association. This presentation on teaching continues the work that he has performed in the area of the scholarship of teaching and learning over the past several years, including work being developed internationally. |
