Mark Horvath To Speak, Huffington Post Top 11 Twitter ActivistsContributed by Laura Murphy on 03/31/11 Mark Horvath, homelessness activist, will be speaking Monday, April 11, 5:30-7:30pm in the Textor 101 lecture hall. Mark Horvath, documentarian and founder of www.InvisiblePeople.tv and We Are Visible will be speaking at the college in Textor 101 (http://hardlynormal.com/blog/). He's been featured on CNN, NPR, CBS and was named one of The Huffington Post's Top Twitter activists, and he will be speaking about his advocacy regarding homelessness, diversifying the face of homelessness, and effective social media activism. Ithaca College Habitat for Humanity will be hosting Mark for his talk on Monday, April 11th from 5:30-7:30pm. If you are interested in meeting Mark Horvath personally, IC Habitat will be hosting a luncheon/question and answer session from 12-1pm on Monday April 11th in the Ithaca Falls Room. Food will be provided. Please email habitat@ithaca.edu if you are interested in the luncheon or if you have further questions about this event.
