Gerontology faculty members Mary Ann Erickson and Elizabeth Bergman, along with former Gerontology Institute Director, John Krout, traveled to Cincinnati in March to attend the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education’s 37th Annual Meeting and Educational Leadership Conference.

At the conference Dr. Krout received the Mildred M. Seltzer Distinguished Service Award. This recognition honors colleagues who are near retirement or recently retired and is given to individuals who have been highly involved in AGHE through service, as elected officers, and have provided leadership in one of the AGHE grant-funded projects. Pam Mayberry, who worked as associate director at the Institute before relocating out of state last summer, presented Krout with the award. She is a member of AGHE’s Executive Committee.
