Tired of winter and the cold? Want to feel like a kid at recess again? Welcome in the warm weather with the Ithaca Youth Bureau’s Adult Kickball Tournament scholarship fundraiser.

We are looking for volunteers who want to get involved and come help with our concession stand or umpire some games for the duration of the day. Want to play instead? Put together a team and come compete to be the 2011 Ithaca Youth Bureau kickball champs. 100% of all proceeds go to the Ithaca Youth Bureau Scholarship program. You could help send a kid to camp for two weeks.

When: Saturday, April 30, 10:00 am (captains meeting at 9:30)

Location: Cass Park ball fields

Registration Information: Teams will consist of 8 to 12 players. Each player will receive a 2011 tournament t-shirt and a raffle ticket for a chance to win tons of prizes. Registration fee is $120.00 per team. Don't have a team but still want to compete? Register as a free agent for $15 or come volunteer. Register at the Youth Bureau by April 15.

The number of teams is limited so if you want to play, make sure to hurry and secure a spot.

It will be a double elimination tournament. Games will last approximately 30 minutes and will have a 10 minute break between games for team rotations. There will be one umpire per game.
