"Vincent Who?" Documentary Screening and short Q&A with Helen Zia

Focus Asia Months third event! On Thursday, April 14th, at 6PM in the Park Auditorium! "Vincent Who?" documentary screening. This documentary explores the 1982 murder of Vincent Chin that occurred in Detroit, Michigan and the legacy of the case. Chin was a 27-year-old Chinese-American who was beaten to death with a baseball bat by two Detroit autoworkers. The men had mistakenly thought he was Japanese, and believed him to be 'responsible' for the loss of jobs in the U.S. auto industry. 

After the documentary, there will be a short Q&A with Helen Zia, LGBT Rights and Asian American Civil Rights Activist.
